AMERICAN ONE EYE IDLE

The American Idle had upgraded its face, but nothing else.
Same cracked concrete throne stamped MADE IN CHINA. Same smashed Liberty Cola bleeding across the ground. Same wings stitched from dollar signs, golden arches, and forced smiles. One eye still spun like a broken slot machine while the other stayed shut against the mess.
It threw its head back and delivered the usual one-liners at full volume:
“Still not my problem.”
“Tax free on the way in, full price on the way out.”
“Denied is just another word for tradition.”
“I used to hunt. Now I brand.”
“Smile bigger—the logo needs the light.”
No one answered. The burger kept dripping. The Idle kept screaming. And the sky above it stayed perfectly, carefully empty.
The American Idle never wrote speeches.
It only dealt in one-liners.
“Still not my problem.”
“Made in China, denied in America.”
“Tax free until the bill arrives.”
“Liberty Cola tastes better when someone else cleans the spill.”
“One eye open is all the vigilance this perch requires.”
“Smile for the logo. The feathers already sold out. "It screamed each line from its concrete throne, wings heavy with dollar signs and golden arches. The burger kept dripping. The cola kept spreading. And the sky above stayed empty, as if even the real eagles had decided the show was over.
